Lemme break this non-original movie down for you….
-The storyline is the concept of Wall-E mixed with the plot of Pocahontas.
-The helicopters AND the big ship carrying the mechs are from Halo 3, but they are called hornets and pelicans.
-Home tree and the concept it implies is directly out of an Avatar: The last airbender episode called “The Swamp”. (believe me ive seen every episode 3 times or more)
-The mech suits have been around since the 80’s but they were even in District 9 which came out within the same year
-The sounds one of the animals made was the call that the velociraptor made in jurassic park 3, and thats the only other place ive ever heard the sound, so it cant be recycled.
-The floating rocks are from a game called Skies of Arcadia that came out for the Dreamcast 10 years ago. (which is how long it took james cameron to supposedly write this movie himself..now i see why, it was to take ideas from everything he saw and put them into one movie)
-The idea of creating a pact and bond with an animal is from a game called Drakenguard which came out in 2004..the only difference is they didnt have Hair sex with the animals to create the bond
-The surrogate (which i havnt seen) which also came out in 2009, also had the idea of controlling an avatar with your mind
-The glowing plants were from the “Electric feel” music video by MGMT
-Home tree AND the blue native warriors in Avatar are also at the very end of Uncharted 2 but in a different way..because home tree is the “life tree” and the warriors are the protectors of the tree because they are guarding whats inside the tree…sounds like Avatar
-now heres a thought…if there is no greenery left on earth..first of all we wouldnt be able to breathe there….and we wouldnt be destroying all the greenery on Pandora for some mining minerals…we would be trying to colonize on pandora.
Amazing graphics and effects.. really entertaining from start to finish…some cool altered original ideas… but NOT AS GOOD AS EVERYONE IS SAYING IT IS. its just a decent movie…definitely worth watching..but not “THE BEST MOVIE I’VE EVER SEEN!” as everyone is implying.
