ABOUT OWL CITY.
everybody knows they suck. point fucking proven. BUT EVERY BAND SOUNDS LIKE SOME OTHER BAND. every last one. influences are influences, every person has them, every writer has them, every band has them, now stfu and MOVE ON.
/rant.
BUT…one of the reasons why the starting line had to go on a hiatus was because they werent making any money…was this because people download music? or because other bands copy someones sound and make it poppy so the demographic of little 12 year olds will buy into the music and take away the deserved rightfull credit? you decide lol.
The Starting Line had a big enough fan base to support themselves, I don’t think shitty bands with no reputations would have enough impact on a band like that to cause them to go on hiatus. The downloading vs. purchasing thing is a valid reason, but c’mon jesse, Owl City is not the reason for TSL’s break-up.
